Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic and growing team to help expand our US client base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing outbound lead prospecting; bringing new business opportunities by identifying and contacting relevant prospects through various platforms such as warm and cold calls, social media, emails, and B2B networking, virtually, locally and nationally. Meeting and exceeding targets to achieve successful end to end contract sales and account management while ensuring an exceptional client experience is achieved with effective communication throughout the process.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

The starting salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications, plus additional earning potential in the form of sales commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and build strong leads, leveraging your network, contacting prospects through various channels to build relationships and gauge interest, assessing the potential of leads, identifying key decision-makers to nurture the leads through the sales process, scheduling meetings and transitioning the lead into a sale.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and satisfaction, developing and executing sales strategies to ensure sales targets are being met and exceeded.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while communicating with potential clients, leads, current and return clients, vendors, coworkers and guests in a pleasant and efficient manner, cultivating meaningful connections with clients and would-be clients.
  • Understanding and interpreting client needs and requirements to ensure appropriate service delivery while addressing any issues, concerns or complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Work from company designated systems and software to complete daily requirements on inbound and outbound calls, follow ups and emails with exceptional attention to detail particularly when entering data, providing information and sending emails.
  • Answering inbound sales telephone calls as well as perform outbound calls daily as directed on prospected leads, completing follow ups and personalized emails.
  • Collect all necessary information on potential leads and facilitate a smooth handover of the lead to the global design team. Ensuring that accurate and detailed record of all interactions and activities are recorded in the designated system.
  • Traveling to meet with clients and would-be clients locally around the Las Vegas area as well as traveling to required locations across the United States, coast to coast.
  • Maintain high standards for organization, cleanliness and conditions in the working areas.
  • Collaborating with other departments, demonstrating cooperation and professional conduct.
  • Remain up to date and well educated on company services and products, being knowledgeable of industry trends and sales strategies.
  • Using problem solving skills to work around complex project situations to ensure the results are satisfactory.
  • Completion of daily job requirements/tasks while exercising adequate time management skills and maintaining work pace appropriate to given workload, performing duties on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, with valid state issued driver’s license and reliable transportation in order to commute to work as well as to and required local sales leads and client locations.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years qualifying experience with an emphasis on business development, outbound calling, customer service, B2B marketing and/or sales in the tradeshow/exhibit industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales is preferred, however candidates with sufficient and extensive industry specific experience to demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and connects within the trade show industry will be considered.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace, as well as experience using various industry CRM systems.
  • Able to speak, read, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Ability to communicate and follow specific instructions clearly, courteously and efficiently.
  • Must have basic cognitive skills; such as the ability to read, reason, remember and pay attention to details with the ability to multi task efficiently while maintaining satisfactory performance.
  • Must utilize reading, writing, computer/ technology and basic arithmetic skills in order to track, record and complete required work and daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Be flexible to variances in scheduling including days, hours and shifts worked, and though it is not typical, the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays if required.
  • Traveling both locally and throughout various cities and states in which we operate in order to meet with clients and would-be clients. At times, you may be required to perform work of town for overnight stays, and upon request, for longer periods of time due to work projects and needs of the business.
